Interesting places to visit include the atmospheric, teak-built Bagaya Monastery and its surrounding stupas, the Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, and the Nanmyint watch tower (which unfortunately cannot currently be climbed due to its wooden stairs being in an advanced state of disrepair).
AVA sightseeing will be horse cart and after AVA we will take you to Sagaing.
Located on the western banks of the Irrawaddy River, opposite Inwa and 21 kilometres south west of Mandalay, Sagaing is another of Myanmar’s ancient capitals, famous for its many hundreds of white, silver and gold pagodas and monasteries that dot its hilly landscape. On the hill is the most famous shrine in the area, U Min Thone Zu cave. the Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, originally built in 1312.
